FTI THE FOLDER - Unique mini newspaper

The Folder was first launched by FTI in Newquay in 2005 as a tourist information guide with free text message services for visitors.

The new Green Folder is the advertising medium for all FTI web sites and services, particularly the Simply Green Cornwall marketing project.

The Green Folder is a single sheet of recycled A4 paper folded and cut into a small eight page booklet with a full page map on the reverse when its unfolded.

Designed, printed and Hand folded in Cornwall and distributed to visitors the Green Folder offers hundreds of text message and Wap page services containing up to the minute information on demand.

The map on the back of The Green Folder features the name, website address and telephone number of Simply Green Cornwall members.

Also featured on the map are 70 numbered locations around the Cornish coast, each one has a text message of its own with more info about the location.

The Folder is a single piece of A4 paper folded to an old origami pattern with a single scissor cut in the centre. The result? An eight page tiny newspaper style booklet. Initially conceived as a gimmicky flyer to advertise the FTI Newquay & Cornwall websites, it has now evolved into a live publication that can be printed, folded and distributed "live" to order.
